Got a temporary network connected at a client's facility. They say that one of our employee's (personal)laptops is acting as a DHCP server. This machine is Win98. Is this possible? Can Win98 act as a DHCP server? How do you disable it?
Most likely they have ICS (internet connection sharing) enabled. ICS has a mini built in DHCP server. I cant remember where the option is in windows 98 to disable/enable it. Its in 1 of the networking options.
