Hello, the problem that I am having is that there is a computer that I have on the network that does not have the network neighborhood available. All of the files are installed for the network, like Clie. For MS Network/TPC/Ip-netbeui/file&printersharing. It is suppose to be logging on to the domain TEXAS. The log in box comes out and it seems to log in fine when the username and pass are typed. But there is no NWRKNBHD on the desktop (icon) When I try to map a network drive it tells me that it cant. There is a mapped drive already (running from script) but when I double click on it it says that the \\server1\(name) is not available. I have never seen anything like it, does anyone have any suggestions? (I tried setting up a printer from the network, printers folder then network, but there is no name next to the icon -like-NETWORKNEIGHBORHOOD - when you go to browse ) Very weird

Have you checked device manager for any conflicts with your network card? Does it have a red X or ? on your network icon? Post back of what, if any, errors are there.

Nope, there are no conflicts on the device manager, that's the weird part. Everything seems to be working fine on the computer, except for the fact that there is no icon for the network, and there is no access for it either. I was even able to logg on as an administrator, it DIDN'T tell me "no domain server was available to validate password" as it usually does when you don't have the network available. I logged in fine. (No problems) But I can't access anything on the network. I tried ping, but that was not available.
