Hello all,
I've got two Win2K3 Std. Ed. servers that are acting strangely after performing recommended MS updates. My primary got a single security update, while my secondary got SP1. (My primary also needs SP1, but I'm rather leary about doing it until I can get handle on this)
The systems are taking forever to "log off" during reboot, and then taking forever to get through the "Applying computer Settings" section of the splash screen during start up.
My primary server is also my backup system (DLT with Backup Exex 9.1). Since the update, I haven't been able to get a backup beyond the "Pre-processing" phase. Veritas has some suggestions for this, and I need to try them out, but the servers are my number one priority.
Any ideas as to what's happened?
Any help will be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.
