After I setup my Win2K Server...
i can no longer browse the net at normal speed.

the server seems to be doing a lot of upstream? is this part of its feature? If so... how do i turn it off or tone it down a bit so that i can set it as a server for my website and use the server to browse the web at the same time? I'm on DSL so i can spare a bit of bandwidth goin' out... but the server seems to be taking up the whole upstream bandwidth rendering my connection useless to even access a site like Yahoo! Forgive me lord, but i'm poor and cannot afford to have a separate server and a regular PC. So I need to combine the two...

I have set up the IIS in win2k pro and that works just fine.. it's just that the maximum # of connections is only 10. Does anyone know how to uncap this?

Thanx a lot,
Fox

10 is the default.
You must remember that webservers are used only for incomming connection. Don't try to surf on it, it will be v. slow as you know. You cant' have a webserver and a desktop PC into 1. It simply isn't made for that. Steve Hewitt
