It is my understanding thus far that IIS 5.0 does run under Win2K Pro. What I would like to know is: If I run IIS 5.0 under Win2K Pro will it be able to handle 100s of concurrent hits on the website I am developing? Or will the number of concurrent hits be limited to a much smaller number than 100s ... will it only handle maybe 10 or 20 simultaneous hits?

I have DSL connection ... and one computer. I don't understand what licensing has to do with this. Could you please explain?

For example with NT4, the number of concurrent connections you could have depended on your licensing, for example, something like an Enterprise license may allow you to have upto 1000 connections, etc, understand?

The version of IIS that comes with Win 2000 Pro is limited to 10 simultaneous connections. Period. This is a license issue. If you need more simultaneous connections, buy Windows 2000 Server, or Advanced Server.
