This is a Dell PowerEdge 2400 server w/ W2K server. It runs a very low-hit website right now. I loaded some Sybase iAnywhere (EA server, Jaguar)software last week with no problems. TODAY it is incredibly slow and perf mon shows the processor thread at 100% most of the time. Can anybody give me some clues?

Thanks!! Shem

hi

press control-alt delete to bring up the task manager go to task manager. look for the process that is taking up all the cpu....there should be something in it that indicate a CPU row and see if it's at 100...that process is taking up all your usage...either kill the process remove the software from the server....if you click on Performance, it will also show you some info about the processing power of the server. hope that helps.
