Hey you guys I need some help I try installing windows XP but I have an hpt370 raid on my motherboard abit kt7a-raid and when win XP ask for the drivers of the HPT370 I try to install the drivers that I have for win 2k but xp hangs right after that. When I try installing without the drivers win XP installs perfectly but after it reboots to run windows for the first time it crashes saying that the "hive software key" on my registry is missing or corrupt.
At first I thought it was my cd that had problems but a friend of my told it could be the drivers for the hpt370 since it hangs when I use the win 2k drivers, and there are no drivers that I know of for the hpt370 controller created for windows xp yet if any one could give a hand on that
