win xp file turn blue

Hi,I have Win XP, Can anyone tell me why in my PC some files name are black color and some are blue color??? Is that normal???? what cause's that???

The blue colour signifies that the files have been compressed.

thanks, so it is normal right?, But why it compressed my files??? I have 80g HD...now I still have like 30G free space..
