I have followed the instructions to create an ISO image and burnt this image to CD but when I boot I get

the boot starts and then displays

Please insert the disk labeled windows xp professional cd-rom into drive A:

Is this a problem with drivers? our has the image gone wrong?

Thanks

Si

If you made a Bootable CD (not a Windows XP CD with boot option already integrated) you made the boot option wrong, cause it still has reference to boot the Windows from "A:" which is where you got the boot files from and made the bootable CD.

Read carefully again each step before making the bootable CD and try to fix the reference settings. What i mean is that the boot option still "thinks" that it is booting from the floppy disc "A", but you burnt it in an CD already, so there path references are messed up.

Try making and burning the Image again, with care, so you wont miss any configuration. I can't help you fix the path reference cause i dont know which software are you using to make the bootable CD.

:)..... that's it.
