Is there any problems I should be concerned with when formating a PC that came pre installed with ME and loading Win 98SE? I have an HP 766MHZ Celeron with 64SDRam

Probably not. Just make sure you can access the cd through the boot sequence or from the floppy boot disk befor you do anything irreversable. And be aware that HP could have done things on the MB that are supported under ME but not under 98. Unlikely, but possible. You might have to go to HP site to get drivers for any onboard devices. orlando,

Be careful.

Some HP's have a special partition set aside. Run fdisk and choose View partition information.

Wise move, though. Although you void the warranty.
