I have a Hp 8860, 1 ghz processor, 384 meg and Win Me. I hooked up a Telocity (Directv) DSL USB/Ethernet Modem and its software and now when Win Me boots up I get the following error message:
Error OE:0028:C0030D12. Prior to this when I first hooked the modem up windows ran fine and then the next day it would not start at all, so formatted the hard drive/restored but still having problems. Also the Hardrive is a 60 gig and now it says its 57.2 gig. I would swear before all this it said 60 gig. I have also had problemswith the floppy drive coming on for no reason and then the cd burner wouldnt work. But my main problems is being able to boot into windows normally without to OE message. Any help would be helpfull. As a note, I have tried using the modem on both USB and Ethernet and still it crashes.
