win cant detect new card

i installed a geforce mx4000 v64 but when i turned the comp back on it did not detect it :( any ideas?

Is it set to boot from AGP slot in BIOS?
Does your motherboard have onboard graphics? Did you disable it in BIOS before rebooting with the new card?

Please give a little more info

when you turned your pc on, they you see windows boot or just black screen.

maybe you should try re seating the card again, it might not be properly installed.
