we have a new motherboard with onboard network card (RTL8101). our network system does not allow us to use xp at the moment(we are updating this next xmas due to funds not available at the moment). we are installing a couple of new machines and are going to use win 98 as it is compatible with our network. we are not getting a network connection seems a problem with the driver(which came on the motherboard disk)we have been told that win98se may work for us how do we upgrade from 98 to 98 se (a service pack ?????)

thanks in anticipation of your help

How do you knw that it is the driver for the nic? Do you get errors stating that?

Why not dl the latest driver for 98 and install it?

I think you can get it here:
98se might not support the nic either becuse it might not have the driver pre-loaded. Hewissa
