WilTel Training Center -- Houston 5

Hello,

Not a technical question. My friend is a Nortel tech who worked for WilTel in 1995-1997 and they sent him to their school in Houston.

Now he's filling out a clearance application and they want to know the address of the training center.

Does anybody know that?

I opened up a Google map of Houston and typed in "Nortel" and this returned:

(281)260-4800 <--- Verified - this is answered by Nortel

If all else fails, you'd think the Houston office of Nortel might remember/know where that center was.

Unless of course, you mean WilTel ran the school he attended.

Wiltel was in the Woodsland area of Houston...

Possibly 2800 Post Oak Blvd,
Houston, Tx...If I remember the Wiltel days correctly. I think they were there first before the Woodlands but I am not sure.

The address for the time frame indicated was 2800 Post Oak Blvd. This was the Transco tower in the Galeria area off the 610 loop on the west side of town.

I worked for WilTel but never got sent the their training center. But 2800 Post Oak Blvd sounds familiar.

I was an ex Wiltel employee in that time frame and yes, the Wiltel office moved from the Woodlands location to the Transco tower in the late 90's. They renamed the tower the Williams Tower after that and it was in fact on Post Oak Blvd. Right adjacent to the Galeria Mall.
