You can edit any old ASP files in Visual Studio.Net (there is no 'Visual Interdev' feature required any more). However, it does not have a version compliance system - to restrict the syntax to a particular version of ASP. The pop-up tips (functions & parameters) will be for ASP.Net, and JScript ver 7 etc. Although you can edit VBScript, again the editor will not provide many helpful pop-up lists.
Finally, it does not recognise VI project files.
It handles Source Safe differently - more like VB6. It does not require FrontPage server extensions for Source Safe to work.
