will not read some cd's

My Toshiba 2655 XDVD will read some cd's but not others, but other toshiba laptops in our shop can read them with no problems,
the color of the troubled cd is blue
pleas help

Is it one you have burnt yourself, could be a failure in that case...

forget above, if one of the cd's is readable on other machines...nonsense!

Maybe the laser needs calibrated...is it under warranty? Send it back if it is!

Are the CD/DVD drivers the same on all the machines?

Operatin system supplys drivers , they do not need to be loade separately
