I need an after-hours help desk solution. Customer leaves a message, then I need a notification to go to multiple numbers until someone picks up the message.

I know how to set up outcalling to one number but can't figure out how to set up for multiple numbers.

Any suggestions?

EC500 will ring one external number per EC license. If you want 10 external numbers to ring with your internal DN, you need 10 EC licenses. You could use this technique to do it.

I'll check with my vendor.

I hate to purchase more "things" to accomplish this. I have the latest software on my G3 and I just upgraded the Intuity voice mail and got message manager. You would think there would be some way to outcall to multiple numbers.

Do you know if message manager can send an email notification when a new message is received? If I can set that up, I can get my exchange admin to set up a mailbox that will send a broadcast to our pager/cell phone email addresses.

Thanks for the information!!

Your intuity can do this. There's an e-mail field in the subscriber's form.

Just send it to an e-mail that has an outlook/exchange server rule to REDIRECT TO multiple addresses.

Hope this helps...

That would be perfect. I see the email address field. How do I set up the mailbox so that it will email this address? I have outcalling on my extension, I left myself a voice mail but it didn't send notification to the email address so I'm not sure how to set this up.
Thanks.

Honestly, I don't know. Never done it. I think it involves "TRUSTED SERVERS"

I'm looking into Internet Messaging. I have this option but it looks like it's going to be a mess setting it up. I don't want to give access to everyone, I just want to set up one box to notify via email. Can anyone put this set up in newbie (or semi-newbie) terms?
