Will Changing DataSource Lead to Designing New Report Again

I am using a file datasource for the time being to develop my reports, later on I am planning to shift to Java Bean Datasource.

But, I am not sure whether I can use the same design when I change my Datasource, please help.

If we can do that, please let me know how?

Moreover, has anyone tried using Oracle thin driver with Java Bean Datasource, it does not work for me.

Can you answer my other question, how to use oracle thin driver with java bean datasource??

I have tried it out, but it shows Query Engine Error.

Please let me know if there are some patches available for it.
