Will a MWI work on these sets?

Are the message waiting indicators on Nortel/Meridian 8009, 8314 and 8417 analog sets compatable with Definity?

Yes & no. The voltage seems a bit low for these sets. Sometimes they will work, sometimes not. They are not that bright.

You might try changing the mwi type from led to neon. Maybe one setting will work better than another.

U must have a neon 90 volt power supply in the pbx to use neon or u will get a alarm.
