WIC card requirement for a frame connection?

I'm a little confused about the hardware requirements to set up a frame line we're adding to connect to a business partner. Its a 256k frame-relay circuit with an RJ-48 termination in our office. Do I HAVE TO use a WIC-1T serial interface with an external CSU/DSU, or can I use a WIC-1DSU-T1?
