Hi,
I have two 3620 routers and one eth IP is 172.100.10.254 other one is 172.100.10.252. I found there are too many broadcasts in both Eth port. show int e0/1 i got these:
117693 packets input, 27412635 bytes, 0 no buffer
Received 34595 broadcasts, 0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles
and in other one:
48721 packets input, 10876607 bytes, 0 no buffer
Received 48168 broadcasts, 0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles

I checked the serials port at both routers, no broadcast. and I monitored the LAN by sniffer at the two IP address, it is ok. so where did these broadcasts came?

Help me! please

First things first.. clear the counters and then take a look in a day or so. It could have been an ARP storm, screwed up desktop, sick switch and so on.. lots of things could do this. But first you need to see of the broadcast count is still there or if was a tempory thing.
