I have create a trace to look at 2 db's on a server. I have set the profiler to use where dbname like db1 and db2. I am getting results back, the problem is that the databasename shows up blank in the result set?

Why profiler does not show database name

Not all data is available in the profile for all events.
You should be able to get the dbid.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
