why my page number start at 2???

Hi all,

I would like to hear any suggestions from you if it would help solve my current strange problem.

My MS Word always start page number with number 2 onwards. When I tried to force the starting number to be from 1, it would still show number 2 instead of 1.

Rename normal.dot (something like oldnormal.dot), and then restart Word.

Does this still happen?

Hi

Try go to View>Header and Footer. Click on FormatPageNumber and check the options in there espically StartAt.
