When I issued sysdef in our machine, I found
that all IPC share memory parameters were set to zero, like
*
* IPC Shared Memory
*
         0 max shared memory segment size (SHMMAX)
     0 min shared memory segment size (SHMMIN)
     0  shared memory identifiers (SHMMNI)
     0 max attached shm segments per process (SHMSEG

and phisical memory seems not enough,
and more,
if
SHMMAX =0, I should see these settings in /etc/system,
but I can't see this in the file,
what I can do for this ?

can I increase these parameter as
SHMMAX =50 m,
SHMMIN = 1,
SHMMNI=100,
SHMSEG=64, in /etc/system,
then I reboot the BOX ,
can The box reboot normally ?

Thanks all of you

The changes you suggest should be OK. Don't forget to change that 50M figure to bytes, though. As an example, here's the same figures from one of our production servers:

*
* IPC Shared Memory
*
4294967295 max shared memory segment size (SHMMAX)
     1 min shared memory segment size (SHMMIN)
   300  shared memory identifiers (SHMMNI)
    20 max attached shm segments per process (SHMSEG)

Hope that helps.

--
Thanks you very much,
Have a good day

and more ,
Can any of you
tell me Max and Min of these Parameters,
and what will will happen if these 4 parameters
were set to zero ?
Thanks
