why 1 ring before going to auto attendant?

MICS xl 1.0 w/ Startalk Flash. I have 2 lines that are set to go to AA, answer on 0 rings. These 2 lines do appear on the 2 phones that ring once, sometimes only half a ring when a call comes in. The calls do go to the AA as they should but the 1 ring is making people nuts. Ideas?

The AA needs a ring signal before it can answer. So if you have the Lines ringing on any other sets then you will always get the same ring. You could just have the Lines Appear on the set and not Ring.
