Hi!

I have a new server with windows 2000, using a team of 2 network cards. When added to the net, it seems to work just fine but eventually make the whole network stop working. The server has not even begun to do its work (it has a platform to be used during the next semester at the university), so nobody is really using it at the time. It has nothing but sqlserver and an e-learning platform. No DHCP server, no DNS server, no FTP server, no Telnet server!.

I´m thinking it could be a problem with the card team, but it seems ok to me!

Have any of you guys any idea?

Thanks a lot

William

In some rare cases a faulty network card can take down an entire subnet it did happen on our site once. It is unlikely but it might be worth disabling each one in turn to see if it makes a change.

yup agreed if u think its the team--unteam it and see.

Hi Teamaker!

Thanks for your help!....I did unteam the cards team and so far it has been working wonderfully!.....I´m still observing but I think it was the problem!......Anyways I won´t stop hoping to use the team in the future since using only one of the two cards seems a waste to me!
