cramsession.com has test stats, studyguides that aren't braindumps, and lot's of certification-industry people to advise you... I'd really recommend getting a couple old PCs, practicing, and using either MeasureUp or Transcender to validate your practice...
You say that you have the Experience... how many times have you remotely installed W2K Pro from a server (for example)... do you know the steps?

Knowing that stuff cold will help a lot!!
Transcenders cost about $100... but they really help you focus your attention on testing styles and reading EVERYTHING before answering... (my area of weakness)
so,
Step 1: get all of the non-braindump study guides you want, starting with the MS webpage and the Sybex exam guide
Step 2: build a 1-4 PC home lab (should be possible with less than $500.00 bucks--I have 3 PCs and a small hub in mine)
Step 3: Practice and read, read and practice
Step 4: do the Transcender or MeasureUp thing
Step 5: repeat steps 3 and 4 until you score 100% every time
Step 6: go to
to find a location and time convenient for you (I like Saturday mornings) and schedule your test
Step 7: Pass the test and earn your promotion
Depending on your experience levels and your life constraints (money, time, space, etc.) it can take between 1 and 4 weeks...
