I'm unclear of your meaning but if you refer to a default login, SQL Server does not have one. It is not like Access which defaults to Admin. You must supply a login unless using NT authentication. With NT authentication, SQL uses the current NT login. Terry Broadbent

Isn´t "sa" with a blank pswd the default account?
