or

Cells(x,y)....

or

another method...

Thanks, i understand those methods but i am wonderinng if there is a difference between range("Name").offset(x,y) (ie.it is not selection the cell) and just using the cell(x,y) method>

The With statement allows you to perform a series of statements on a specified object without requalifying the name of the object. Running CompareMethods without With…End With, adds about 10% to the run time.

Each time you evaluate an object, it takes time.
