We have a peer to peer Windows 98 network with about 7 computers on it. My computer is the "hub" for the internet access (we use a dialup modem which is on my computer)- though it is not the Server.

Whenever someone on the network wants to go online, they click on their internet browser button and my modem dials up. Sometimes I want to know which computer is initiating the dialup, as it causes my computer to crash.
I downloaded a free utility called tcpview, and it shows something, but I cannot decipher it. I emailed the author of the program and did not get a response.
Any pointers out there -- either a utility program or ???

TIA, Crashing in California

I have never tried connecting through one computer, the Peer to Peer we have here we use Cable - going to hubs - going out to the various computers.

But,

Have you tried - like at night when you are by yourself - or maybe with an assistant. Going from computer to computer one at a time to isolate which one is causing the crashing?
