Hello,
My company would like to switch from Access to SQL Server. I would like to know your expert advice as to what product to purchase. I need to be able to develop databases and then centralize the data entry on a server, by having the clients log in via a I realize that the can be achieved with 3rd party tools. Should I purchase a copy of MS SQL Server Standard with 25 client license or a single processor license? Does this include the development tools (I don't expect it to have the web tools)? What version of SQL server should I purchase - 7 or 2000? Is there a limitation with version 7 - we're cheap? I need any input asap!
Thanks in advance, Rob Marriott
