Does anyone know where I can get a Windows startup disk that also has the generic CD-ROM driver on it? Or just the generic cd rom driver alone? Thanks

Does your PC support booting off the CD-ROM? I think it comes with its own generic driver set to install right off the CD.

Not sure why you are looking for the disk if you can boot off the CD-ROM.

Cheers!

Any advice I give is my best judgement based on my interpretation of the facts you supply. Help increase my knowledge by providing some feedback, good or bad, on any advice I have given.

If your looking for the Windows 98 Startup disk you could just go to "Add/Remove Programs" then click on the start up disk tab.

I found one I already have. It's tough to find an image of a Win 98 startup disk though.

What's tough about it? You received excellent advice on where and how to find it???

Bootdisk.com was a good link. Did not see that until after my reply.
