Hello, I'm currently running a Windows2000 server as an email server and I have a lot of clients. I would like to upgrade my email system to a multi-system setup (load balancing, redundancy). I have no idea where to get information regarding the best way to do this.
Most of the info I have been able to find revolves around one server acting as the email server, however my needs have grown past a single server and I need information on what to do for a better setup.
-I need to know which programs (MTA's) are dependable for me to use
-Which OS should I use (if I don't stay with 2000)
-How the setup works (proxy, # mail servers, where are the accounts stored, etc.)

Basically I need a lot of information, and I'm hoping someone here knows where I can get it. Are there any good books that anyone knows of?
