I have a win2x Server and win98 clients. I have redirected their My Documents and Desktop system folders to directories on the server. When they delete something from these folders or any share on the server, you can't find them in their desktop recycle bin or even the server's recycle bin.
-Where does the file go?
I think I understand what's happening: Files stored on a machine (server) but being deleted remotely (workstation) will not be sent to the workstation's recycle bin since the file doesn't reside there and it won't be in the server's recycle bin since it wasn't deleted from their.
-Is there a way to redirect where your files get deleted to, so that if I delete by mistake, I'll be able to recover it?
