I'm not any kind of tech. expert myself, but a local one helped me set up an ftp site on one computer with Windows Vista, then said I could do the same on my other computer with Windows XP via My Network Places. A search on Google produced a full set of instructions for doing the same. But I can't find any "My Network Places" on this computer, not in the Start menu, not in the Control Panel, not by searching for it as a folder. In the course of my attempts to solve this problem, I installed Service Pack 3 last night, but it made no difference.

Hi there,

You may find it usually by Right-clicking on the desktop and choosing Properties, Desktop Tab, Customise Desktop.

Place a check box in My Network Places and it will appear on your desktop.

HTH.

Peter.

Remember- It's nice to be important,
but it's important to be nice :)
