Greetings,

I need to change the file version on an executable created in Visual C++ 6.0. Where can I do this? Obviously, I can view the current file version number on the executable's properties; but I need to know where and how to change it. i've been looking in the .dsw and in Help; but still can't figure it out. Please help.

Thank you,
Jim

Have a look in the ResourceView tab, there is a folder called "Version" where you can specify the version number, the copyright and so on...

I looked in the tabs; and I do not see a folder called "Version", in the Resource view tab. Any other suggestions? :)
Thank you,
Jim

You can add it by selecting Insert/Resource/Version
