Where can I find Exchange Backup Agent CD?

Hello, I have started a new job, where I am the only IT person. We're using ARCServe 2000 (looks like 7.0). There is an issue with the Exchange Backup Agent, it keeps restarting. I can't find the documentation, or the Exchange Backup Agent CD. I have the sleeve and the Seral #, does anyone know how I could get a hold of this CD?

If you're lucky it is on the main ARCserve 2000 CD (Earlier versions came with the Exchange 2000 Agent on a separate CD though if that is what you are referring too.

I am not lucky I have the sleeve for the agent, but not the CD. Wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't getting some serious hiccups on the Exchange backups. Sigh. I wonder if CA would send the CD if I faxed them the back of the sleeve.

ARCserve 2000 is off the product and officialy supported list so chances are they would not be able to send you a copy of the CD.

Don't know what you have, but on the Exchange Agent is on my ARCserve 2000 CD. The main CD also has all the manuals in the doc directory. Check the main ARCserve CD just to make sure its not there.

Yes, I have. Unfortunately it's not there The ARCserve manual is indeed on the CD, but it doesn't cover Exchange Agent. In fact, it specifically states there that Exchange Agent is sold separately, and I have the sleeve for it. Anyway, I sent an e-mail to the guy that used to work here, hopefully he has some ideas.

Even though the agent is sold separately, the manuals should all be together in the doc directory on the CD. There always seems to be more than one manual - I've never seen just one manual on an ARCserve CD. I suspect your copy is really old!
