When setting up DHCP scope options does broadcast address needed?

Do need to have the broadcast address in DHCP server or scope options? I have high traffic with clients trying to send to our PIX and it the broadcast address there trying to talk to.

Not unless you want it to be different from the default (all 1's). Ages ago some systems used all 0's as the broadcast address - i.e.

network 192.168.1.0/24
all 1's broadcast 192.168.1.255
all 0's broadcast 192.168.1.0

This is rarely used so unless you know that you specifically need this don't add it to the options.

Thanks I removed it. we are 10.10.1.0 and broadcast was 10.10.3.255.
