My boss calls me with one of his little quirky trouble calls. He is replying to an email and after the first paragraph he double spaces and starts typing again. The reply text was blue in 10/arial I think. After the double space for the next paragraph it became 12/something else.

I asked him to do exactly what he'd done initially. Well, he cut and paste a businesses name from a previous email respone to the start of his email reply. Evidently this caused the change.

How does Outlook work in this situation and where can I make it just be black text when replying? Thank you.

It can be tricky sometimes - especially if you cut and paste into an e-mail but to set the default font go to Tools > Options > Mail Format tab and click on Fonts and you can set up what you want (providing you aren't using Word as your editor of course)

Enjoy,
Tony
