What's on the new CCNA 640-801 Exam? 1

I am currently studying for the new CCNA 640-801 exam and am curious what changes have been made from the old 640-507? Also, what parts of the WAN material are emphasized more than others..ISDN, DDR, Frame Relay, etc.? Is IPX still on the exam? Any advice on specific things that should be studied would help me out a lot...thanks.

NicaGringo - I'm not sure the differences from 507 to 607...but from 607 to 801 the changes include removal of IPX and Token Ring, but more focus on OSPF and EIGRP.

Of course it depends on how well you do on specific areas of the test. You may only end up with one question on EIGRP if you get it correct, but 4-5 on ISDN if you get one or two wrong.

I just passed my test this morning, i got a 889, i though i did better than that but its ok i still passed.

I only got one EIGRP question. None on OSPF. a couple PPP, and isdn, one converting binary to decimal and hex. Obvioulsy lots of subnetting. all class B and C. some frame relay.

i got 3 simulations again. one access list, and the others were easy it was just setting up ip addresses and RIP.

thats all i can think of right now. hope it helped some

Wow...congrats to everyone that past the exam. Jdel, you mean on the new 801 test, they have no questions regarding IPX and Token Ring?
Another question that I have for you guys is prior to taking the test, did you guys buy tons of equipment to setup a lab at home or pretty much just reading and you have to equipment to test at work?

correct techxsupport, there are no questions on ipx or token ring, they are no longer requirements for the exam.
