Help!!! I've been developing Access applications using VBA. Now I need to develop an application using SQL Server and want to use Visual Basic. The microsoft web site wants me spend $ 2k in the Visual Basic.net product. I'd just like to get Visual Basic. What do I really need???
Thanks!

I'd stick with vb6. I have enough problems debugging my own rubbish without adding a whole pile of new stuff in. It's not just Microsoft's code, third party controls are being re-written for vb.net. Peter Meachem
