How can I tell what version of Informix - SQL I have in my current CMS?

We're upgrading and a group that accesses the Informix tables directly wants to know if the new system will have a different version of Informix.

All I can get Avaya to tell me is what the version will be on the new system, not what I currently have.

In my CMS I found the release information in the /opt/informix/release/en_us/0333 directory (ESQLCREL.TXT).

If you login as root and do 'find / -name ESQLCREL -print' UNIX should find the file for you.

Thanks!

I also found that you can run the following commands to get information about the informix version and libray versions:

onstat -

onstat -v

ifx_getversion libcli

ifx_getversion libasf

ifx_getversion libgls

ifx_getversion libos

ifx_getversion libsql

ifx_getversion libgen
