What type of cable should i use for Meridian 1 Option 11 C to connect the phone

Hi there ,

What type of cable should i use for Meridian 1 Option 11 C to connect the phone ? Should i use CAT5 cable ?

What type of phone? Analog/digital/ip?

I need to know for both , digital and analog ?

CAT3 is generally considered good enough for analog and digital cabling. CAT5e will work also.

THe cables will work if wired correctly, but the plugs on them need to be the correct size, you can buy phone cords pretty cheaply at Graybar or some other technical store. they don't need to be CAT 3/5 they can be flat silver satin cables or similar, just like your home analog phone.
