How can I completely delete the left over files of an uninstalled program ? Is their a Software out there to do this ? or do I have to do a registry search.
Files can be safely deleted if you are sure they are not being shared by other programs.
Entries in the Registry are probably safer left alone. If you are worried about them, you would have to know their exact name and purpose and search for them yourself (via RegEdit or a Registry Cleaner) prior to removing them.
Everybody has a few unused extra entries in their Registry which if they are not causing any problems do no harm. Playing with Registries is not advisable for the feint hearted or inexperienced.
Of course if you never do, you will miss out on improving your knowledge, so it is up to the individual.
