What Should I Test for 8500 Upgrade?

We are migrating from a Definity G3si with three TDM connected Prologix switches to a S8500 that connects via IP to the remote offices. In making up my testing protocols, does anyone have any recommendations? My experience with the last install was that the techs didn't do a thorough job testing (I found during the install that transfer of calls to the other offices didn't work).
I'm making up test scripts for this upgrade and thought others might have had some common issues that they faced once they upgraded to using VOIP, and what I should test/look out for/make sure is done. Thanks!

DSP RESOURCES!

We are currently having ALL kinds of issues with this. We are running an s8700 with g650 gateways. We dont have enough DSP resources to transcode the tdm to 711 and back again.

Do a list meas ip dsp (other arguments here) and watch very closely during high call volume itmes.

Also check the val boards good. Dont let the put FW007 if someone other than you records announcements (like outtage announcemnts)
