Sorry for this probably "basic" question, saw a configuration that was setup for an office on an 11C at an office and wondering if I can setup something similar on my BCM system. So I figured I would ask the question here...

All staff have DID's that appear on their M3904 phones, but they also have other DN's that appear as DIDs (although they aren't).

For example:

2200
2300
2400
Intercom

Main calls would come into 2400, and then other calls would roll over to 2300 and then 2200.

Are these just Phantom DN's assigned to the users phone with appearance & ring set? Or a completely different setup native to M1 systems and not BCM/Norstar?

Sorry again if this is a real basic setup! Thanks

There is no comparision of Option 11C to Norstar/BCM.

2200
2300
2400
Intercom

Option 11C does not have an intercom key on key 0.

not really phantom number, although it would be defined that way in other pbx's. you can have more then one icm on a bcm, (?) all the dn's in a pbx are basic icm keys, it's when you point did's or trunks to them that they appear more then they are. in this pbx you can also have a dig (dial intergroup) that work almost the same as a bcm. in the switch you add hta to cls and lhk x to make each of the lines starting with key 0 ring on the line 0 did. a side note if you need an answer then that question is only a basic question to someone else, to you it's a need to know. but then that's why all 1,012,000 of us are here. my next question might be basic to you.
