There is no theoretical limit on the number of open forms. Presumably, the fact that they are minimised doesn't change that. In practice, the number of open forms is constrained by the amount of available memory, but I would guess that it would be pretty high.
Why don't you write a little program which runs through a loop, opening a form and updating a count. When the program finally crashes, you'll have your answer.
