What is the different between NetBackup and Backup Exec ?

They are from the same company Symantec and perform backups and restores. That is where their similaruty ends. Backup exec is more for small scale customers with only a few server to manage. Netbackup is for large scale environments with many servers to manage. Netbackup is policy based which allows you to group like servers together to back them up. They are very different to manage and the cost is also very different.
