I have a customer whose contract for PRI service is coming up for renewal and the salesperson at Verizon told her that they could save her about $100.00 a month if they changed her package to IntelliLinQ PRI but it doesn't have Call by Call feature. I looked at the Nortel Docs re. Call by Call and checked the PBX programming and found no CbC programming such as master routes.
Is there anything that Verizon could be doing that would cause my PBX problems if this feature is turned off?
Can anyone offer a better explanation of CbC, perhaps from the CO standpoint?

Thanks,

No, I doubt it would have an impact. Probably you just wouldnt see the detail on your telco bills anymore. You need ensure you still could do cdrsearches though. AJK

from the co stand point, i have 240 pri's did. no more then 180 can be used inbound as any one time. they are all two way, i can use 200 outbound, before my next dial 9 gives user a busy out.. this keeps a 9/11 type problem from having 100,000 people calling in and blocking all outbound, same is true in reverse. all 7000 employees can't attemp to call the same radio give away.. in the nortel pbx, read isa routing
