I'm coming back to Access after a long absence and I can't remember what Me is - as in:

me.Whatever.Visible=False

Is it the active object? Like a form?
or the control with the focus?

It is the active object as in form or report. Me! is a short hand alias for :

FORMS![frmName]! or REPORTS![rptName]!

Also, it can only be used with that particular form or report.
